I help caregivers and professionals avoid burnout and WIN at switching capes between their personal and professional lives by redefining the
in-between as a portal to power.
āThe in-between is not a pause, itās a portal - designed to transport you, not trap you.ā
Iām Lanaire Malone - a speaker, entrepreneur, and the self-proclaimed Sandwich Generation IT Girl. I spend my days switching capes between being a full-time employee of my two small kids, a part-time parent to my mom, and the CEO of several ventures including an in-home health care agency and a nonprofit dedicated to strengthening mother-daughter relationships. Iāve also spent years in corporate HR, developing the people strategies and leadership tools that now shape my work as a speaker.
My why is deeply personal. I became my motherās caregiver when she was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. A decade after beating it, her health took several traumatic turns that left her in a wheelchair and needing significant daily support. Watching your superhero need help at that level is heartbreaking and it comes with a grief people donāt often talk about. Navigating her care while raising two small kids, 4 and 6, means thereās never a dull, quiet, or uncomplicated moment in my house.
But it also means I live what I teach. Through my signature framework, The Four Fās of Winning In-Betweenā¢, I help people name the weight theyāre carrying, set some of it down, and rediscover the power sitting in their in-between. My life revolves around keeping my ship afloat and showing others how to do the same with confidence, clarity, and compassion.
MY MOTTO IS AND ALWAYS WILL BE
āEverything is āfigureoutable.ā
